2023-2024 Fellows

The 2023-24 fellows built skills and knowledge in restoration ecology and culture. In Spring 2024, they developed new projects for Carse Wetland by setting up plots to monitor invasive honeysuckle, setting up plots to monitor woodland plant diversity, and restoring the wolf tree.
The 2023-24 fellows are Noah Anderson, Kaylee Baker, Amelia Betz, Josie Daigle, Emily DiGiacomo, Anna Eldridge, Michael Habib, Emily Hakansson, Johanna Henjes, Nate Henninger, Sicilia Jantzen, Deven Kajah, Cecilia Murphy, Lucas Roemer, and Eva Rook.
Each year, our REC fellows go on a weekend retreat to Northwoods Stewardship Center in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Here, two of Northwoods' forest and wildlife experts take us on a guided snowshoe hike through the forest to teach us about the local ecology and history of the land.
